Stay2Night Hostel

We booked and paid in advance through Booking.com, but I feel they scammed us. There was no reception, just a door code they sent us. One staff member, a Black man from Colombia, manages the place and blackmailed us into paying extra. The place looked like an asylum house, with a bunch of shit. It's not a proper hostel. Please don't book there.

The rooms were very dirty, blankets included, and overcrowded, with noise going on well past midnight. There were no room locks or security, and staff came in without knocking. The area felt unsafe, with drunk people nearby. The worst hostel experience, and I don't recommend it at all.

There was no protection for our stuff, and the entrance and doors didn't lock. Everything was super dirty, and it looks like the place has never been renovated. The area felt like the worst in Zurich, with drugged people sitting by the entrance on the stairs. The view was roofs and dirt, and the window was very easy to open, so who knows what could happen. WiFi barely worked. Some rooms don't have enough heating in winter. The kitchen was a mess and didn't even have a kettle. They charge an extra 5 frank for each blanket. My friend visited by accident and was shocked. I can't believe a place like this exists in Switzerland. So ugly!

We paid to stay on 2 September 2025, but left before checking in and didn't ask for a refund. The police told us the place was in a RED zone and not safe. Drug addicts and homeless people were around the area, and there was no reception. It felt too risky, so we left. Please don't stay at this hostel, it's too dangerous.
