Hotel le Marly

I spent two weeks at this very nice hotel and had no complaints. The staff were polite and friendly, and both the food and service were amazing.

The room was roomy, clean, and well equipped with a desk and chair, TV, wardrobe, air conditioning, and a clean private bathroom. I found the hotel service kind and helpful, and they helped me with Yango several times. I enjoyed spending time at the bar and restaurant by the waterfront, where the afternoon breeze is refreshing. The view looks across the bay toward some industrial areas, but it's still a pleasant place to sit with a beer and food. The pool is nicely situated for a relaxing swim. Food and drinks seemed a little pricey. Otherwise, I had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would return.

The waterside location is gorgeous 😍, though the hotel could use a tune-up.

We booked two rooms through Expedia, expecting an airport shuttle, but were told at the last minute there wasn't one, so we had to arrange a taxi. At the hotel, they then said they no longer accepted Expedia bookings. We'd already paid, but they wouldn't let us stay that night, and at 8 pm we had to find another hotel. The receptionist was rude and didn't help at all. The Wi-Fi doesn't work, and the place looks worse in person than in the photos. Save yourself time and money and choose another hotel. Enjoy your stay in Abidjan!
