Moana Sands Villas & Apartments

The villa layout worked really well for travelling with children, especially if you want to stay up a bit after they’ve gone to bed. It’s long, with one bedroom by the entrance and the other beside the lounge near the beach, and each room’s bathroom is along the same wall. We stayed five nights in a ground-floor villa. The room service was great, and stepping right out to the beach was amazing. The photo was taken through our villa window.

We loved the thoughtful touches, especially the cute welcome signs on the villa doors. Our upstairs villa was spacious, clean and lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The on-site laundry was a real bonus. The beach is great for snorkelling, and our daughter was a big fan of the pool. Wigmores is right across the road, too. Thanks for a great stay.

It was so peaceful here, with a beautiful clean beach just steps from the villa. The location was handy as well, with a supermarket and car and bike rentals across the road, plus two good restaurants within walking distance. The staff were attentive and helpful the whole time, always willing to go the extra mile. Our six days at Moana Sands Villas were terrific and went beyond what we expected. It was just the right mix of comfort, convenience and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, 15/10, highly recommend!

The south-facing beach view from the balcony was amazing, and it was a delight to stroll down to the water and snorkel each morning and afternoon. We were lucky to get a clean, spacious, two-bedroom upstairs apartment facing the beach. The bathroom was huge and even had a bidet. There’s also an in-ground pool with a beach-facing deck in the villa complex. It’s a great quiet family stay. Wigmores, with its convenience store, ice cream and bottle shop, is across the road. The fish and chips takeaway next to it is a must, and the cafe attached to the villas is a good spot for breakfast. I’d especially recommend the three-egg omelette.
