That bed was the star for me. I haven’t slept that well in ages! The kitchen has the essentials, the balcony has a great view, the breeze feels refreshing, and the TV comes loaded with good movies. Muri Retreat felt like a little home and a peaceful oasis after I visited resorts and hotels along the main road for meals and drinks. It’s quiet and serene, except when the roosters call. Simon and Denise have clearly put a lot of care into the place. They’re thoughtful and quick to respond, and even brought me a few things from their garden that they knew I liked. It’s about a half-kilometre down a side street from the main road, easy to reach on the island bus, and airport transfers are available if you prefer. Book directly for unlimited WiFi and to avoid other platform booking fees. It has everything I needed for a Rarotonga getaway, and I hope I can return soon.

Tucked away in the hills, this place is a hidden gem. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, just right for unwinding. Simon and Denise have thought of what you might need for a comfortable stay, and they’re easy to reach if anything comes up.

Simon and Denise are wonderful, and there was nothing to fault about our stay. The retreat is clean, quiet, and has everything you need, plus more. Communication was friendly and fast, and it’s a lovely place to relax.

The location worked really well for us, with everything we needed close by and Nautilus, where we attended a wedding, just a two-minute drive away. The owners were warm, friendly, and accommodating, and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We had an amazing stay at Muri Retreat in Rarotonga, and it was great value for money. Booking directly through the Muri Retreat website is a good idea, as they were flexible and easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely retreat. Meitaki ma'ata.
