Hotel DUHATAO

For the same price, Diego de Almagro gives you almost three times the comfort, breakfast, and room space. We paid for two rooms here, and it left a lot to be desired. I understand this is a local hotel and not a Diego de Almagro, but the charge is excessive for what you get. The hotel itself is very basic for such a high price. The floors creak, so you hear footsteps from other rooms, and the outlets are too high to reach from the tables. The bathroom is small, has no hairdryer, and the toilet seat is loose. The water heater didn't work. The TV had no signal, and the Wi-Fi didn't work either. There was no landline for easy communication, and the passwords weren't posted in the rooms. Breakfast was very basic, and the bill took a long time to arrive.

The food had lots of variety and tasted homemade. Staff were great too, friendly and always willing to help. Definitely an experience I'd repeat, and a place I'd highly recommend.

The staff were even better than the already lovely place. Really good experience, highly recommended.

For what they charge, I expected a lot more. It feels priced like a four-star place, but the service is one-star. Breakfast was extremely basic every day, with little coffee, just ham and cheese, and hard-boiled eggs. The room had an uneven wooden floor and carpet that creaked when I walked. The windows wouldn't close properly, so I could hear all the nighttime and early morning traffic. The bathroom had cosmetic issues. I arrived late on the first day and asked about dinner. They offered chicken with rice and a glass of juice for $ 12.500, which felt excessive to me.
