We ended up staying in Antofagasta longer partly because we loved this hotel. The room was beautiful, with a huge bed and a stunning, spacious bathroom, and there was a sunset ocean view from the window. The staff were super nice, the continental breakfast was amazing, and the Wi-Fi was very fast, which mattered since we were working. On our last day, we could wait by the pool or in reception until we needed to leave, though we couldn’t stay in the room, which is understandable. The pool gets shaded by the hotel outside the hours around noon, so that’s the best time to visit. It felt like a very luxurious stay.

The staff were very friendly and the location is great. The breakfast is basic, and the hotel clearly needs renovating.

The bed was the one bright spot: big and very comfortable. The place was clean, but the elevator didn’t work, the A/C was broken, and breakfast was very poor. A total mess.

I didn’t find it pleasant. The reception staff were rude, and the hot tub was closed because of the pandemic even though the gym was open. They shouldn’t advertise the hot tub if it’s unavailable.
