The building has a beautiful design and made for a very comfortable stay. It’s right in the center, close to Paseo Bolognesi and 21 de Mayo.

The view is quite nice, and you can sleep well as long as there’s no noise in the center. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and nice, but our welcome from the owner was cold. They asked us to read and sign a fairly long rental agreement. We booked through Booking.com, and I honestly don’t understand why we had to agree to extra conditions. The same owner wouldn’t let us use the washing machine in the empty apartment next door, saying it wasn’t part of the amenities, and was in a “good mood” about it. Don’t let an unfriendly, very inflexible host spoil your stay.

The location is the best part, with ample parking and everything close by. It’s just steps from the cathedral and main square, and right at the foot of the Morro de Arica, with the trailhead nearby if you’d rather walk up. The apartments are comfortable, attractive, clean, and have everything needed for a pleasant stay in Arica. The owner is very friendly. I highly recommend it.
