The check-in took a long time because the English-speaking staff member was busy dealing with complaints from other customers. The directions about redeeming points were wrong too.

The room was very clean, but it's one of the smallest Ibis rooms I've seen. There was soap but no shampoo, and no water glasses. Breakfast was chaotic: one two-slice toaster for the whole hotel, food kept running out, and tables were left uncleared. It worked for one night before catching the bus to San Pedro de Atacama the next day. The airport is 10 minutes away.

The rooms are basic, and getting anywhere decent in town means a long walk. Check-in was slow and confusing, with queues out the door before we were told we were at the wrong desk. Both desks were being handled by one person. Next time I'd skip it and book a hostel. Not great overall.

The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel has a restaurant and coffee counter, and it's near the bus stations, right beside a Jumbo supermarket and pizza place. The beds are comfortable, the shower is warm, and there's AC. Rooms are really small, especially the toilet space, and you only get towels, with no coffee or tea, kettle, or microwave. Still, it's a good place and not too expensive.
