There’s lots of room for children to play outside their rooms, and no TVs in the bedrooms, which makes it easy to switch off and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms are thoughtfully put together, and the hotel is charming and relaxing. The women who run it are lovely, the breakfast is very complete, and the restaurant is excellent. It’s about a five-minute drive from the center of Castro Urdiales, or ten minutes if there’s traffic. Highly recommended.

The meals made a huge difference for us, thanks to the affection and care put into preparing them, especially the care they showed our son Baltazar 💙. We want to sincerely thank and congratulate Lodge Cumbre de Chiloé for a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful, and we felt so welcome. Those small details really say a lot. We’d definitely like to return ✨🌿

Bárbara and her family were attentive and hospitable, always making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. It’s an ideal lodge for relaxing and disconnecting on vacation. Highly recommended.

Suggestions: some small patio-style seats in the garden and more Chiloé crafts in the decor would be nice. The evening menu could also offer lighter dishes and sandwiches. It’s a peaceful, quiet place with a lovely garden and beautiful woodwork. The family-run business provides excellent service and keeps the mystique of Chiloé.

The staff were great with us, and breakfast was excellent. The room for three, though, was cramped and short on furniture. It was cold, had poor ventilation, no TV, and an old bathroom. They also didn't replace the soap. The outside of the hotel needs a lot of work too.
