Hostal y Cabañas Perla del Lago

Mrs. Tarcila was so kind, and she made us a delicious breakfast. We had a lovely chat with her, too. The cabin itself was fantastic, with very nice, brand-new beds that were really comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a very pleasant stay. Our cabin and apartment both came with breakfast, and they were patient about waiting for guests arriving late after long journeys.

Stay away! The woman was unpleasant and dishonest, and seemed completely crazy. First she said the quoted price was wrong because she’d been asleep when she gave it to us. Then she said she had no change in Chilean pesos and sent us to a market to exchange money. When we got back, she said there was no accommodation left. She didn’t understand anything we said, and there was no lunch for the children, only for adults. The little place we saw was filthy. This is no joke, don’t come here!

The apartment was super cute, clean, and very comfortable, and Tarcila made sure we felt safe and at ease the whole time. She was a sweetheart who made us feel at home, shared suggestions for places and tours, and even helped us find contacts for our next place to stay. We also had some really interesting conversations. Our stay was simply perfect.
