Hotel Alicante

Being able to park right outside your door is handy. You can get in from the parking lot and drive through an interior corridor. The accommodation helped us out, though the facilities aren’t great. The rooms have carpet, but looked clean. They say breakfast runs until 10:30, yet by 10:00 AM things were already running out.

Comfortable, discreet, and well located. It’s simple and has no frills, but still pleasant. The price is above average, which seems to keep shady characters away, and there’s a basic pool. It’s a hotel now, though it must have been a motel until fairly recently.

The place was clean and tidy, and we could park right outside our room. It’s easy to reach from the old highway and easy to get back on to continue south. The service was friendly and good. It was my first stay, and I thought it was great 👌 👍.

We had excellent service when we arrived, and the kitchen service at night was good too. The beds, though, were uncomfortable and smelled strongly of smoke. Reception said breakfast went until 10:30, but when we got there at 10:00 there was almost nothing left. A kitchen staff member was extremely unpleasant and insisted it ended at 10:00. Several other people had the same problem. The buffet was poor, and flies were all over it.
