The setting is beautiful, and the service was okay. The food took too long for the quality.

I only booked one night as a stop on my way to Santiago Airport, and now I wish I’d stayed 3-4 days. It’s well placed for adventure, and the rooms and facilities are just right. The restaurant food was the best I had on my trip through Chile.

The road there isn’t easy, and food choices are limited, but the views are lovely and the container room was cozy and warm. Breakfast was good, too. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, which can be hard to find in Chile sometimes. That really stands out, and maybe things are changing for the better! COLGUN and the surrounding area are amazing. I highly recommend the place, and a road or bike trip to the Argentinian border.

The patio view was fantastic, even though the rooms are minimalistic. We rented kayaks and were out for 3 hours, with the Sct, Bernard dog “Atos” following along from shore and keeping us safe. The staff’s service was amazing, the food was good, and the drinks were fantastic. They even had a movie night outside. Breakfast felt a bit sparse to us, since we’re used to a substantial European breakfast. We’d definitely consider coming back to explore the area, regional parks, and Volcanos by ATV.
