Hostel del Puerto

It's an older building, but the room I had was clean and tidy, as was the dining area. I can't speak for every room. The receptionists and the rest of the service were excellent for a two-star hotel. My one suggestion is to update the dining room furniture and make better use of the building, its view, and its location.

After hours of driving, I felt right at home and found everything I needed, so I'd stay here again. The place is very central, just a block from the Santa Isabel mall and supermarket. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and there are TVs in the rooms. There's parking a block and a half away, plus a kitchen and barbecue area upstairs with a view of the Third Millennium Cross.

I was a little uneasy after reading some reviews, but decided to try the hotel for myself and was glad I did. My daughters and I stayed for 11 nights without any problems. Everyone on staff was friendly and worked hard to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are equipped well, the beds are comfortable, and the location is good. Excellent service! I'll definitely come back. Thanks so much, Hotel del Puerto, for the warm welcome.

I only wound up here because I couldn't find anywhere else. The room was clean and reasonably priced, but just okay, and I expected a bit more, like air conditioning or a fan. Opening the window did the trick. For breakfast, you get Nescafé with milk and a ham and cheese roll, or one with butter and jam. Yogurt and a little star-shaped cereal are included too. Eggs and any other breakfast options cost extra, and I thought the meal was poor. The staff were very friendly. It's right in the city center, but the surrounding area didn't feel safe. It's best to get back early, and I wouldn't go exploring there. So, clean room, friendly staff, bad breakfast, and an unsafe area at night.
