I was on a work trip and stayed for a day during a storm that knocked out power across the city. They kindly hooked my room up to a generator. The room itself was comfortable and cozy.

The place is very nice and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A few things could be better: the payment details on Booking.com didn’t match what I was charged in the end, the windows need better insulation, and there should be a handrail at the top of the stairs for older guests. Also, breakfast is not the time for guests to overhear staff being reprimanded. As the saying goes, household problems should be dealt with at home.

The central location was excellent, and the welcome was warm and friendly. My husband and I spent a week at Hostal Mi Casa, and everything was spotless and very comfortable. Our room was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly attentive.

It’s a decent place to stay, but there’s no breakfast or even a cold snack if you need to head out before 8:00 AM. For what the rooms cost, I’d also expect shampoo, but they don’t provide any.
