The staff are excellent and extremely friendly, and they arranged my car rental, which was great. It’s a quiet area near the airport but away from town, and the location is great. I think this place would work better as more of a bed and breakfast. Hot water is the main problem. There’s hardly any because it’s solar powered, so if you get up early or it’s cloudy, you’re left with cold water. Breakfast could use some improvement, like adding fruit. The eggs they serve are amazing, green range chicken eggs, but if you’re vegetarian you’re left with bread, butter, cheese, and jam. Internet is spotty, though that’s an island-wide issue because it’s satellite based.

We loved how calm this little place felt, with local plants and banana trees by the entrance and chickens and wild horses wandering around. The shared sitting area was comfortable, and there was a communal fridge too. We had plenty of space out front to park our ATVs. It's an easy walk from the airport, and they picked us up there and gave us a quick tour of town. Breakfast came with eggs, ham, tasty local bread and jams, plus instant coffee and tea. Just remember the hot water runs on solar power if you like a late shower. It was perfect for us.

Getting supplies on an island so far from the mainland can't be easy, but this bed and breakfast worked pretty well. It's a peaceful island stay, with someone who acts a bit like a concierge. Knowing Spanish is a big help.
