Manutara Hotel

The pool was a nice feature, and there’s a shared lounge area plus a kitchen space with a microwave, electric oven, and refrigerator. There’s no gas stove. The hotel also has a dining room, a living area, cleaning service, and a buffet breakfast every day. You can ask at reception for beach towels for the pool or outings. They provide bar soap and shampoo sachets as well. The rooms were immaculate, with a TV, bedside tables, and clean shower towels every day. All rooms have mosquito screens on the bedroom and bathroom windows. The bathroom had a hair dryer and a roomy tub-style shower with clean curtains and no mold. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the airport and about 20 minutes from the center. We were welcomed very warmly, and the whole place made for a lovely tropical getaway. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely return!

The people were very friendly, and the place was clean and cozy, close to both the airport and the city center. Our bed creaked a bit. With the heat, you can’t close the windows, so you have to be resourceful. The rooster waking you in the morning is actually useful for getting the most out of the day.

The breakfast buffet was delicious. They served bread pudding with local fruit, though I can’t remember the fruit’s name. The pool was lovely and suitable for children, and there’s a communal space to unwind after a long day of excursions. There’s also a refrigerator for storing things you bring from home. You can buy a 10 or 20-liter water jug for your room and refill your bottle. It’s a beautiful place, with a comfortable room and beds. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

A friendly place with a nice interior courtyard. The hotel itself is good, but I’d change the breakfast. It’s the same every day and needs more variety, especially some protein. I wish they had eggs.
