We'd booked separate single rooms for two people, but were put in a shared room because, they said, others had occupied our rooms. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms. My first room had a leak in one wall and no bathroom light; in the replacement, the shower floor was badly stained and sank under my weight. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

There are better choices for a family stay. This wouldn't be my first pick.

Andrea and Ximena were especially friendly, and everyone treated us with real hospitality and kindness. Excellent hostel, highly recommend it!

The quality of the pieces is good, but the mattresses really need work. I could still feel the springs pressing into my back.

Cheap, family-friendly cafe close to Cavancha. It's open all-you-can-eat, which is the best part.
