The ocean views are fantastic, and the hotel is comfortable, a nice stop before continuing down the coast. At the time of my review in April 2025, Google had the location wrong. You need to go about 500 meters farther down the road. Bring snacks if you won't be going out.

The ocean view and grounds were lovely, and the location was great. We're not people who spend the day lying on a beach, and if that's what you want, this may not be a good fit. The website says the beach is a 10-minute walk, but it’s probably twice that. I would've given five stars if the water level had been kept full, the jacuzzi cleaned better, and the daily breakfast buffet hadn't been RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

The restaurant staff deserve a special mention: a small but efficient team, quick and friendly, with good food. One waiter was so attentive he brought a glass of water to someone coughing without being asked. Breakfast was excellent, and lunches and dinners were good. By Chilean standards, the service was EXCELLENT. It’s a lovely medium-sized hotel with a great view from the front and pool, good rooms and bathrooms with walk-in showers, and a small but adequate gym. It isn't central, so you'll need a car to get to the Centre. Reasonable value for money too.

I found it handy for shopping, though the best beach in Iquique is too far to walk to. The hotel itself was clean and updated, and the pool and its view were lovely. Staff were helpful, with several speaking English well.

I won't return. The staff were extremely rude and completely out of line, with no sensitivity at all. They seemed unwilling to help and made things very uncomfortable for me and my very sick companion. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing getaway.
