I’ve stayed here twice with my family, and we’ve always been very comfortable. The apartments are practical for beach holidays, about one block from the beach and Avenida del Mar. This stretch is less crowded than farther south towards Cuatro Esquinas and Coquimbo. They’re mainly set up as vacation rentals, not permanent homes. The apartments aren’t luxurious, but they’re comfortable and useful. The complex is tidy and well maintained, with several towers and two elevators in each that work very well. Every apartment has a parking space. The hallways and elevator entrances are outdoors, so they can feel chilly when the weather is bad. There’s a pool and barbecue grills in the middle of the complex, plus a laundry room where you can buy tokens at the concierge desk. The stove, oven, and water heater are electric since there’s no natural gas.

The apartment was quite comfortable, and it belongs to my brother. It’s a lovely place, conveniently located near the beach, the lighthouse, and several pubs, restaurants, and hotels.

In 2024, this condo went downhill badly. I’d lived here for years, but had to move because rentals seemed to go to just about anyone. There were so many robberies and fights, and it was awful. Management never took action, and the private security guards did even less. I’m leaving this negative review.

On the second day, we went to use the pool and found lots of young people drinking alcohol and swimming. None of the caretakers told them to stop drinking or get out of the pool. Then, on our fourth day there, someone who looks after the place told me my three dogs couldn’t be on the grass around the pool, even on leashes. I took them away because I understand the pool is a shared space. But he only said something to me, even though another family had two dogs and wasn’t approached. There had also been many more animals on earlier days without anyone saying anything. If they’re going to set rules here, they should apply equally to everyone.
