The pool area and the cats made for a really nice spot, and the service was very good. It felt like a little oasis near La Serena’s beach walk. I was a bit disappointed that the domes didn’t feel like domes from inside the room, but the rest of the room was perfect, so I couldn’t complain.

The host and owner was incredibly kind, suggesting places to eat and visit, as well as affordable ways to get there. Wi-Fi worked well, and they even helped us find English-language programs on the great TVs in the room. It’s a very secure place, and the solar-powered exterior lights show care for the environment. Breakfast was plentiful by Chilean standards. The dome architecture is interesting from outside, and the interiors are just as lovely, clean, freshly painted, and impeccably maintained. The bathroom was super clean, with brilliant white towels and plenty of hot water in the shower.

We stayed for the week of the 18th in a triple room with my dog, and had a really good, relaxing week. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. Coffee, tea, and water were available without limit. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, though it wasn’t a buffet. I booked online and paid half the price; I was a little skeptical at first, but there were no problems. People mention the rough road, but I didn’t find it that bad. It’s 500 meters of dirt road, about a three-minute drive, and a Kia Morning loaded with three bikes managed it easily. The place is three blocks from the waterfront, with lots of food trucks and eateries along the way. Being pet-friendly is a big plus. The one thing I’d change is allowing dogs in the dining room at breakfast. We had to eat in turns because we couldn’t leave my dog alone in the room or bring her into the dining room.

This was our third visit, and we’ve always had a great experience. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. It’s also nice to go out for a walk and come back to a spotless room. The pool was the only thing that needed attention, and only on this visit: the water was cloudy and the pool needed more maintenance. Everything else was excellent. Thank you.
