The beds were comfy, the staff were very hospitable, and the price was great for what you get. It’s a small kitchen, with no real place to socialize, and the Wi-Fi didn’t really reach the bedrooms. There are warm showers, and they’re renovating the place at the moment. The main square is relatively close, and the bus station is roughly a 30 minute walk away.

The place smells old and isn’t hygienic. There were spiders, flies everywhere, a dirty bathroom, no towels and stained bedspreads. Honestly, it’s badly managed.

My husband and I arrived to check in after booking through the Despegar app. We knocked and rang the doorbell for a while before a guest in his underwear finally answered. He said the owner wasn’t there and nobody could check us in, so we went somewhere else. A really bad experience, I don’t recommend it at all.

I left after just half an hour because the room smelled awful and the blanket was stained, as if it hadn’t been washed. I started itching, and the whole place made me feel miserable. I asked the owner to refund at least half the money and still haven’t heard back. Hygiene and cleanliness are basic essentials. I can’t understand how this place is still operating. Absolutely terrible, I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s easy to get to and close to the Recova. Nights were quiet, and nobody bothered us. The parking is the one thing that could be better. The manager was great at giving recommendations, even if he’s a man of few words.
