The owners live there and look after guests themselves. My wife was sick, so they brought her hot tea with lemon, which was very kind. We booked that same day and they were ready for us. The room was spotless, and you can park right in front of it inside a secure enclosed area. Breakfast was fantastic, served at the table rather than as a buffet: country eggs, juice, coffee or tea, ham, cheese, cake, marmalade, and cereal with yogurt. We paid by credit card. The heating seemed electric, and it was very quiet with no smell at all.

The breakfast, with local products, was first-class. Our rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the service and attention were excellent. Highly recommended.

The buffet was a lovely surprise, with coffee beans, fruit, cereal, pastries, ham, and cheese. The hostel was very clean and comfortable, and I got a real chance to rest. I’d definitely return and highly recommend it.

The owners were so kind, and the rooms felt cozy, with comfortable beds. They also welcomed my cat in her carrier without any trouble. Breakfast was spectacular, with freshly brewed coffee, eggs, ham, cereal, and more. I’ve stayed at several places in Linares, and Hotel Wincayaren was the best of them by far. It’ll be my go-to for holidays in southern Chile when I travel from Santiago.

Just a few blocks from central Linares, the location is great. The welcome was warm, the room was comfortable and heated, and breakfast had plenty of variety. A very good place to stay in Linares.
