I had to cancel and was meant to get half my money back, but the refund never came. I know some of it was my responsibility, but the owner handled it very unprofessionally. She said she’d return the money and then didn’t. Be careful.

The morning sun was the best part of my December visit, and the cabin stayed at a very comfortable temperature. The shower had good pressure and a nice temperature too. The owner made us feel welcome, and the property is spacious, with plenty of parking and several cabins. The furniture is a little dated, but that’s a minor thing.

The volcano view is fabulous, and the setting is beautiful. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the owner was pleasant. But there was basically no service. We had to make our own beds, there were no towels, and for our three-night stay they left just one roll of toilet paper on the first day. It needs maintenance too, the curtains were clean but torn. For the price, I expected more, especially since breakfast wasn’t included. I came away feeling like I’d paid a lot just for a nice place to sleep.

Really good. It was clean, tidy, and spacious, with green areas. Close to the lake and shops, and quiet enough to relax with the family. 10 out of 10.
