Chil'in Hostel

The tables aren’t crowded together, and there’s plenty of room in the place. We came at night and it was kind of cold inside. The waitress greeted us at the door and found us a table. We ordered juices and meat. The juices took a while, but the meat arrived soon after. The plates were tasty and very good. If you want to leave full, you’d be better off getting pizza; for tasty meals, go with the traditional dishes. Staff kept checking whether we needed anything, which was good, though they didn’t feel as friendly as staff at other places. The online menu PDF was awful, with no style and everything all over the place. They could really improve it and add pictures of the dishes. For the price, it was a good meal, almost a sure bet for tasty food, though not quite the best value.

We ate here twice while in Las Trancas and enjoyed both visits. The menu has plenty of variety, with a French touch in some dishes, and they were glad to handle our special requests. The decor, food, and service were all excellent. I appreciated having actual menus to read instead of only QR codes. Highly recommend.

There are lots of choices on the menu, including plenty for vegetarians and vegans, and the food was excellent. Service was super, too. If I return to Nevados de Chillan, I'll definitely come back.

The meal arrived incredibly quickly, and our waiter was so friendly. I was really impressed by the quality of the dishes at this lovely restaurant surrounded by nature. Congratulations on such great service!
