A pool, a big garden and a private terrace with our room made for a lovely stay at La Calma de Rita. The rooms are spectacular, especially the one where you sleep inside a giant wine barrel. Staff were charming and welcoming too. When we got back from cycling, cold drinks were already waiting for us. Much recommended!

The wine barrel room was perfect, and the restaurant and communal area felt a little dated, though I thought that added to the experience. Carlos and Paz went out of their way to make our last days in Chile absolutely perfect. We felt like we were visiting family. An incredible stay!

It's a very nice hotel, though on the pricey side. The rooms are lovely, with many of them putting the bed inside a giant old wine barrel. The pool is nice, and the spacious eating areas were clean with great meals. The bathrooms were okay.

Getting here from Santiago is easy by Uber, though the place is a little outside the city. That distance gives you a peaceful, private setting. The hosts are attentive and caring, and it felt like being at home. The unusual beds are in wine barrels, wagons or trucks. Try the bike and wine tour, you'll love it!
