The beds were extremely comfortable and smelled clean, and the bathroom in our room was beautiful, spacious, bright, and well ventilated. Common areas were all very clean, and the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped. The room, called "Oak," faced the street, and its curtains had no sheers, so we had to keep them shut while getting ready in the morning and got no natural light. We also didn't ask for towels to dry ourselves, assuming there'd be hand towels in the bathroom, but there weren't. The common areas felt very old and unwelcoming. The host helped us figure out how to use the decor, which we hadn't understood, though his manner was a bit curt. Communication through Booking.com was good. They contacted us early about a change that worked in our favor, and the host replied quickly when we reached out. We got a remote for the gate, which made it easy to come and go without disturbing anyone. The price was affordable, and the place was a few blocks from the center and next to the Tur-Bus terminal. It's on a main street, so traffic noise continued all night. Across the road, a fruit and vegetable shop played reggaeton at nightclub volume from about 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. It wasn't peaceful, and my niece had trouble sleeping with the music. It was a good experience, but only because we were there just to sleep.
