The private rooms are really nice, which you wouldn't expect from the outside, and the morning-shift ladies kept things clean. Still, there was plenty to improve. The entrance and backyard needed tidying and cleaning, and the living room and bar area could be nicer. The music was awful, basically just the TV playing loudly. I'd avoid renting their bikes, because they were literally falling apart. Staff got confused and nearly left us without a room. While we were out, they handled our belongings and put them in a room that didn't feel very safe. Thankfully they sorted things out, and we did have a good time overall.

Beautiful design, a good price, and a pleasant shared living room. The kitchen is small and basic. We didn't meet anyone during our stay, but it was a nice backpackers hostel.

The owner was friendly and gave us a beer and an upgrade after we explained what had happened. We'd arrived early, and the room we'd booked and checked into hadn't been cleaned yet. We hadn't asked reception to clean it, though, so it was our mistake to stay unhappy without checking back at the desk. The hostal apologized and made it right. It's conveniently beside the city center, with helpful staff and a relaxed style that suits backpackers. Our first misunderstanding was unlucky, but the response was very friendly. Thank you!

The room had a private bathroom and lovely views, and we made good use of the kitchen and common areas. Staff were very helpful, so it was a great stay apart from the noise. A SUPER loud club runs from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am, followed by street drunks babbling for another hour. If you're a light sleeper... The pictures show some spots around Pucon city.

The care and thought put into this hostel shows in all the details. Spectacular place, people, and service. It's definitely on my shortlist of awesome hostels, and yes, I recommend it!
