Hotel Cumbres de Pucón

The room was small but suited us perfectly for a few days. The location was excellent, just steps from the main street, and the price felt great for what we got, five out of five. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with a very good selection of tasty options.

I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and never had a stay like this. We planned to be there for three nights, but left as soon as we could. The room had no window or air conditioning, and it was awful. The floor was so dirty and greasy that the soles of my feet were black after half an hour. The closet door had come off its hinges, and the bathroom was filthy, with hair on the shower walls. Breakfast was terrible too, and the plates were chipped.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the hotel is well located. Still, I’m unhappy with how they handled a missing top. It had been hanging visibly over a chair when I left, but after the room was cleaned, it was gone. I’m completely sure it was there. Staff were friendly enough to ask the laundry and cleaning teams, but when nobody found it, they considered the matter closed. The room and bathroom were very small, with poor air circulation. The Wi-Fi was extremely bad, almost nonexistent. Breakfast was okay in quality, but had little variety and no choice of bread. It was partly self-service, and the lines to get food could take more than 20 minutes.

A fairly new, clean hotel in a very central spot. The shower was awesome, breakfast excellent, and the staff so friendly that my girls felt at home.
