Domos By Toore Patagonia

Those two big loungers by the windows were my favourite part, perfect for reading at the start or end of a Patagonia day. This was possibly my favourite place to stay in all nine weeks of my South America trip. It feels like a well-heated luxe tent set right on the Patagonian Steppe, with good shower pressure. The kitchenette has a mini oven, hot plate, pans, kettle, utensils, oil, pepper, salt and sugar. Bring a sharp knife if you plan on chopping or cooking. Breakfast is self-catered, which worked well for packing park lunches. Every evening they left a basket of eggs, bread, avocado, the pastry of the day and fruit. The location is perfect if you have a rental car: a few miles out of town, easy to reach supermarkets and restaurants, quicker for morning trips to the national parks, and just 6min from the airport.

We had a few lovely days here and would definitely come back. The staff were amazing and helpful, and breakfast was included. One thing I’d change next time is bringing an eye mask, since the dome gets bright.

The mountain view was beautiful, and the room and kitchen were both clean and updated. We really enjoyed the Domos and would stay here again.

The breakfast, left for us the evening before, was really nice, and we enjoyed the stay. The room was cosy, modern and very clean. It’s a quiet spot outside the town centre, so you’ll need a car. Despite the description, this isn’t a love hotel. A really nice place to stay, highly recommended.
