The free breakfast was a real highlight, and you can ask for it to go if you can’t eat there. Either way, it’s much more than the basic bagel and coffee you’d get at a North American hotel. I was traveling with my husband, my sister, and her boyfriend, and all four of us loved the private rooms, which were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was my first hostel stay, and Hector and his family put so much care into everything. They wanted guests to look forward to coming back after a long day, as Hector put it. I can’t say enough good things about the stay. I’d return to puerto natales just to stay here again. Muchas gracias Hector and family, you made our time in the south of Chile unforgettable.

This is a very quiet hostel, a good fit if you want a restful stay rather than a social or party atmosphere. The bathrooms had great hot water and strong pressure after long days out, and breakfast was generous before early starts. We stayed a few nights and found the rooms good value and everything very clean. The hosts were genuinely lovely and welcoming. It’s right in the centre, with restaurants, shops, and tour operators easy to reach on foot. There isn’t much common space to sit and hang out, so it may not suit you if meeting lots of other travellers is the goal.

We could leave our bags here while we did the W trek, and Hector even arranged breakfast to go for the morning we set off. He was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, and our room was clean and comfortable. Everything you need is a short walk away. I really enjoyed staying here and would choose it again if I come back to Puerto Natales.

The location is excellent, and every room has a full heater. The place was clean and in great shape each day, with the details given real attention. Hector, his wife, and son were lovely.

After our W Trek, this was a quiet, cozy place to recover. We stayed four nights and felt very well looked after by the thoughtful, attentive family running the hotel. It was a truly heartwarming stay. Highly recommended.
