Hostel Picada De Carlitos

Breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean. I slept peacefully because I couldn't hear the neighboring rooms. Just two small drawbacks: there was only one electrical outlet, and the shower was a bit small, at least in my room. The location was good too.

The hostel was well heated throughout, and tea and coffee were available anytime in the dining area. It's in a great spot, two blocks from the Plaza de Armas, and was very quiet with good service. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Our room was fine, with its own bathroom and an LED TV. The only real downside was the tiny shower. Everything else was good. I can't tell whether the bed was that good or whether we were just exhausted, but we slept soundly all night.

The rooms are comfortable, and I liked being able to adjust the heating. In cities like Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales, where they tend to overdo the heat, it's nice to choose whether to have it on. The bathrooms were adequate. Breakfast was just okay for me. Noise could be an issue if you're sensitive to it, since you can hear a nearby pub.

The buffet breakfast was varied and very rich. The decor is nice, and the place is reasonably priced and well located near the plaza, restaurants, and attractions. The only issue is noise: at least on the first floor, rooms open off the main hallway.
