The cabins fit beautifully into the mountain setting, and their amenities are comfortable and very good. There’s so much striking scenery and open space in the Osorno Region of Chile to explore on foot or by car. The roads in Chile are among the safest and best marked, and a bike path runs through spectacular views. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place at the foot of the mountains. A few benches outside would be a nice addition.

What made the weekend especially memorable was the care from Calu and Juan. They were warm, helpful, and attentive to everything we needed, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality ❤️ My partner and I came during a very rainy weekend, but the fireplace and the view through the big windows made our evenings lovely. The cabins are set among incredible scenery and birdsong, a great place to relax. They sleep five and have a fully equipped kitchen, a roomy living and dining space, and a large bathroom.

Getting in may look tricky, but just follow the track and any car can make it, I can confirm that, haha. Once there, you’ll find cabins stocked with everything you need and then some, and Calu and Don Juan take care of every little detail. They’re wonderful hosts, and there was always plenty of firewood, so we felt at home. The service was excellent. Bring your appetite for the gorgeous scenery, with Ralun and Cochamo’s many hidden spots nearby.
