You can spend a quiet moment reading on one of the benches, enjoy the view, or relax in the wooden tub after visiting the beach. A few dozen steps lead down to a private black sand beach, where it feels like you can swim almost alone, with the Andean volcanoes behind you. Kids will enjoy seeing the domestic animals and wild birds moving freely around the garden. The setting is peaceful, on the shores of Lake Llanquihue between Puerto Varas and Llanquihue. The property covers 10,000 m² and has a main house plus three modern, two-story rustic cottages of about 90 m² each. The cottages are well equipped, with three bedrooms for up to seven adults, a kitchen-dining area, and a living room. The main house has several suites for couples or solo guests. The owners were friendly and provided excellent service. Tulipanes del Lago is a charming place to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings.
