We spent five nights in a loft and loved every one of them. The view takes in the lake and volcano, and the place had everything we needed. The upstairs bedroom has a great view and a blackout screen for nighttime. Part of the kitchen sits under the stairs, so tall people should watch their heads while doing dishes. The beach is pebbly, and you'll want to bring your own food. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The cafe across the street is tasty too.

We found Cala Meli through the blog Nós no Chile, and it was a great pick. The place is cozy, clean, and well equipped, with a lovely location and an amazing view of Osorno Vulcan.

The outdoor tub was a really relaxing touch, and the view was incredible. Our host was helpful and quick to respond. We had an amazing stay, and I highly recommend Cala Meli.

The views were staggering, with Volcán Osorno framed perfectly in our bedroom and main windows when the weather was clear. It’s a reasonably dark-sky spot too. Thanks to the weather gods, I saw the Large Magellanic Cloud with my naked eyes and photographed the SMC on my phone in astro mode. We stayed three days, and Jamela was kind and responsive throughout. When we needed antibiotics for an infection, she pointed us toward a better clinic than the one we’d picked. She also arranged a very good taxi to the AndesMar bus stop after we had to return our rental car a day early, for our trip to Bariloche. Unbelievable location, stunning views, beautiful architecture, and excellent service. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever had the privilege to visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
