Being able to cook for ourselves was important since there aren't restaurants nearby, and the lodge had what we needed for that. It was basic but adequate, spotlessly clean, and set in peaceful woods with plenty of space and a nice terrace. The location and lodge were fantastic, though the service and breakfast could use improvement. With no staff on site, sorting out check-in and payment was a bit difficult, and we accidentally paid VAT that we didn't need to pay as non-residents. Breakfast had been prepared before we arrived, which was a letdown, though the cake was delicious.

The three cabins look nice, but ours had been overbooked three times and we couldn't stay there. The manager wouldn't admit the mistake and tried to put us in a cabin half the size with too few beds. It sounds like management has a serious problem. Don't pay in advance. Other guests had it even worse than we did.

A lovely spot to unwind and switch off. Everything was clean, the service was great, and there's Wi-Fi. The nature views are beautiful too.

We spent several lovely days just relaxing and disconnecting, with southern Chile's beautiful nature all around us. Casa Cerezo was peaceful and easy to get to. The bed was comfy, the heating worked well in winter, and both the kitchen and breakfast were great. We'd be happy to come back! 🩷
