The standard rooms have no view, though they are spotlessly clean, with good beds and a huge TV. Our room was hot and had no AC. The common room jazz was too loud to sit comfortably, and the front desk clerk couldn't answer questions or solve problems. The huge lawn has just four chairs, so other guests have to stand outside. Also, getting through the entrance fence means getting out of your car to ring the bell every time you come or go. It's a strange place, with the feel of an elderly home.

We could order drinks around 4 pm, which made relaxing there feel more complete. The place definitely has charm and beauty, it seems to breathe beauty, but a few things miss the mark when you look closer. Nothing bad, just a pity that expectations don't quite match up.

Walking the grounds and heading down to the lake was a real treat, and dinner was wonderful. We visited the restaurant for dinner and loved the great room with its big fireplace. One quick note about booking: the dinner reservation form on the website didn't seem to work when we made our reservation. Maybe it's been fixed. If you don't get an email confirmation, I'd suggest messaging them on WhatsApp or calling the hotel. They were gracious and accommodated us without any problem.

Breakfast was exceptional, especially the scrambled eggs, the best we've ever had. The staff were extremely friendly and remarkably helpful, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Our room, which I believe is the finest, had floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the lake and Osorno. The hotel itself is remarkable, with splendid views of Lake Llanquihue and, when the sky is clear, an awe-inspiring sight of the Osorno volcano. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished, with a generously sized, comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. It exceeded high standards.
