The location is right downtown in Puerto Varas, and the staff helped us look up tours and make bus reservations. Our private room was a good size, larger than rooms in other hostels we’ve stayed in. There was no heating, though, and it was cold when we visited in November. The private bathroom’s shower was very small and almost unusable.

Everything was very clean, and the service was high quality. It’s just a few metres from the centre of Puerto Varas, and a great place to stay.

Breakfast was served around one large table, which made it easy to meet and chat with other guests. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with a great breakfast. Getting in was a hassle, though: we booked through Booking at 9 p.m. and arrived about 30 minutes later, but the person in charge wasn't in the building. We waited more than 20 minutes for someone to let us in, and the restaurant next door had to call them because Booking gave us no phone number. There’s no parking, and the hostel is at the end of a dead-end street.

The hosts made us feel completely at home, and the place was clean and well organized. It’s right in the city center, with buses easy to reach, and it’s close to the coast and other sights. Breakfast was very good too.
