Hostal Brisas Del Sur

Street parking was easy, and the WiFi was really fast. That's about it for the positives. The hostel is far from the town center, the rooms were incredibly noisy, and the old, warped mattresses made it very difficult for two people to share a bed. On arrival, we found dirty socks in our room and dirty floss on the bed. The bathroom was extremely dirty and wasn't properly cleaned once in three days, and dirty dishes sat out in the kitchen for more than 24 hours. Breakfast was supposedly guaranteed and included in the price, but there was none on Sunday because the owner said he likes to sleep in. Pay an extra $40 and stay at one of the legitimate hotels in town.

Someone was vacuuming outside our room at 22:00 at night. The rooms are small and the walls very thin. Breakfast is apparently included, but nobody gave us any information about it. Really not great.

The hostel is a little out of the way, but that wasn't an issue for us. The neighborhood is lovely, the beach is within walking distance, and colectivos make it easy to get around. The walls are a bit thin, yet the place stays very quiet at night. Javier and Rosa are lovely, attentive hosts, and the generous breakfasts are such a friendly, welcoming part of the stay. We highly recommend it for a visit to the Llanquihue region. Thanks again to you both!

The room was spotless and roomy enough for three of us. Javier welcomed us very kindly, even though we arrived very late, and the breakfast was plentiful, excellent, and delicious. Rosa, who took care of it, was a sweetheart. 👌🏻
