After cycling all day in the rain, we got a friendly, hassle-free check-in. The host was helpful with everything we asked about, including arranging an early breakfast and getting ferry tickets. The hotel has an antique-chic feel and a beautiful location. Recommended!

We had a peaceful lunch here. The food was good, though not amazing, and the staff were really friendly. Huge windows on several sides of the restaurant give you great views of the surrounding landscape. The room also has a distinctive look, especially the impressive bar made from an enormous tree.

A magical spot out in the middle of nowhere. You can really appreciate the lovely, quiet surroundings and relax once the day tourists have gone in the afternoon. The hotel is put together with care, the food is tasty, and the service is very kind. I'd recommend staying overnight if you're crossing between countries.

It's a wonderfully quiet place at the end of the world. Once the day visitors leave, it's a great spot to spend a day or night unwinding. The food is good and the service very kind. There are very few overnight guests, which I really liked.

We came as day visitors and had a light lunch in the restaurant. The soup tasted like it might have come from an instant packet, but the service was attentive and courteous. There were log fires and fabulous views, and the remote setting seems to be a big part of why people come. It's a surprisingly fine hotel in such an isolated spot on the Andean 'road' between Chile and Argentina. Maybe packet soup comes with the territory so far from civilization. We'd happily return and stay overnight if we get the chance. We saw beef cattle grazing on the local farm, so the steaks are probably very good.
