Sarah and Rodrigo were wonderful hosts, and their guide to Punta Arenas has loads of suggestions for food, tours, transport, and more. Sarah also helped us talk through plans for future trips to Torres Del Paine. Their suites are comfortable and lovely, with custom woodwork and tapestry, and it’s impressive to see an older house that’s been in Rodrigo’s family for generations renovated in a rustic “mountain modern” style. It’s close to the city center, with private parking behind a locked gate. A perfect place to begin or finish a Patagonia adventure. We can’t recommend it enough. Thanks, Sarah and Rodrigo. Nos vemos!

We could walk to the beach, local shops, and supermarket, and the apartment was beautifully furnished with a really good layout. We had a splendid stay at Magellanicus Rustic Suits and felt very welcome. Many thanks to Sarah, who was warm, cheerful, and so helpful. We’d book again without hesitation.

The room was warm and comfortable, and the handmade details and use of salvaged materials show how much care went into the apartments. Sarah and Rodrigo were fantastic hosts who really checked that I was doing well as a solo traveler. They even helped me book some great tours and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone passing through Punta Arenas.

There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, as was the water. Sara and Rodrigo were excellent hosts, too. Their local knowledge about who to contact for different things was invaluable, and they helped us plan our itinerary and answered all our questions. We had a great trip.

Sara, the manager, was incredibly helpful. She spent time arranging tours with us and even called around on her cell phone to find excursions that suited the length of our stay. Her service was excellent.
