Hostal San Pedro

Arturo was really friendly and gave me helpful activity recommendations. I also rented a bike from the hostel, which was good value for a day out. The price was good, and my room was comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas. A few things could be better: when Arturo wasn’t around, I couldn’t tell who was staff and able to help. The wifi was inconsistent, and the shower hot water could be more reliable.

We loved our four-day stay. It’s not a very social hostel, but it’s ideal for couples or anyone wanting somewhere quiet. The main area is about a 5-6 minute walk away. Everything stayed spotless, from the room and toilets to the kitchen and surrounding areas. The kitchen was well equipped, the staff were friendly, and there was hot water for showers and a laundry service. Probably the cleanest hostel we’ve ever stayed in.

I stayed for two nights. The hostal was really clean, spacious, and tidy, about 10 minutes from the main road and 3 minutes from a little shop for quick buys. I arrived after midnight, and the receptionist was patient and cooperative throughout check-in. He chatted with me while confirming things and helping with my arrival, and was super friendly.

It was a quiet hostel, and the owner was very nice. Still, my bracelet and necklace went missing after I left them out. They weren’t even worth stealing, but the cleaning lady was the only person who entered my room. Watch your belongings. I’m not local and don’t speak the language, so there wasn’t much hope of sorting it out.
