The room was spotless after cleaning each day, and I felt safe there. The staff were friendly too. Breakfast was okay, though when something ran out, replacing it could take half an hour. Even getting certain bowls or cutlery meant waiting. For the price, the hotel itself is actually pretty decent. The trouble started with payment. They say paying in dollars means you don’t owe the local tax, but their card terminal won’t take debit cards for dollar payments. I had to pay in the local currency and pay the tax, since I’m from Ireland and use euros, and I’d have appreciated seeing that limitation on Booking.com. It was stressful and annoying, especially since it was hot when I arrived and I was already a bit agitated. I also don’t know why I can’t leave a review after booking through Booking.com. That seems unusual. I’d have given four out of five stars if they clearly listed the accepted payment methods. Manager, could you unblock me so I can review the hotel on Booking.com? Thanks.

We had to switch rooms because ours was cold and the sheets were dirty. Breakfast didn’t offer many choices either. This ended up being the worst part of my trip by far, sadly. At least we only had to stay a couple of days.

A really good stay and a great deal in providencia district. In the afternoon, it’s worth walking to Costanera Center and catching the sunset at SkyBar.
