Andes Suites

We were three adults, and our small apartment was very comfortable, with a balcony looking out toward the hills. The kitchen had enough basics for simple cooking, and there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's centrally located, so you can walk to Costanera Center and San Cristobal Hill. The subway and several bus lines are close, too. Breakfast was varied and served at the hotel half a block away. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. I'd definitely come back.

The cleaning women and front desk staff were very polite. The apartment itself was decent and spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Breakfast at the nearby Hotel Diego Velasquez was simple, but fair. I may have been unlucky, but construction went on all week, including Saturday and Sunday, from around 7 or 8 in the morning until 7 or 8 at night. There was drilling and a lot of banging. Also, the advertised accommodation price only applied if you paid in cash, in dollars or pesos. Paying by credit or debit card added almost 20% in tax, which is what happened to us.

There are plenty of places to eat in the area, and getting around the city is easy thanks to the excellent connections. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was very complete and served at the hotel just a few meters away.

We loved the apartment and its location close to everything. There were two adults and two children in our group, and the two-bedroom place was spacious, clean, and very well organized. It had two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, plus a kitchen and living room. They replaced the soap daily, tidied the room, and even washed the dishes for me. Shampoo was provided, the linens were clean, and the internet was ultra fast. The front desk staff were very cordial. Breakfast through Hotel Diego Velasques was modest but good, with a reasonable range of options. The annoying part was the staff watching the table and staring at you while you ate.
