Casa D'Agostino

Loved this cafe. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent, and the price was great.

The position is great, and there’s an excellent choice of ice creams. We stopped in for some.

We celebrated Mother’s Day as a family at Casa D'agostino café, with a 5:30 pm reservation, and the visit was a huge disappointment. The place is nice, but that doesn’t make up for how things went. The food had little flavor, including the very bland eggplant lasagna. Our coffee and hot chocolate were almost cold. The servers seemed lost, bringing things we hadn’t ordered and taking our order to other tables. There also weren’t any contests, despite the Mother’s Day advertising. I think any other café would have been better. We won’t be back.

This was my second visit to the café, and both times I had the same experience. There seemed to be very little staff: I waited 15 minutes to be served and only got attention after repeatedly raising my hand. A couple had waited even longer and left. If they put tables outside, they need enough staff to serve them. They also charge extra for lactose-free milk, calling it “special” milk. The breakfast itself was fine, but it arrived in bits and pieces.
