A great place, new, safe-feeling, and fun. The owner is Chilean and really looks after you. Barrio italia is one of the coolest parts of Santiago, and I think this is the place to stay if you want to be in the center of the best spots.

It’s an affordable option for backpackers, and the rooms are very spacious. They can get really hot because there isn’t much ventilation. Wifi is unreliable and doesn’t work properly in some rooms. Breakfast is included, but pretty meager.

There was dirt and hair in my bunk, even though staff said it had already been cleaned. The polyester sheets were in bad shape too. Pretty gross.

Good spot near shops, and it wasn't overcrowded. The place was warm and clean, with helpful staff. Cheap too, and it had weight facilities and cable TV.
