Hotel Casa Nogales

The location was good, with a quiet, safe-feeling area near a metro station and grocery stores. My room was decently sized and had a small kitchen. I was there for an event at the convention area, which has several rooms. There was a pool, but it stayed empty during my visit. I’m giving one star because the TV service that came with my room never worked. There was a Roku, but its remote was missing, or the main remote wasn’t synced with it. I reported it to reception, and they sent someone who was supposed to be an expert. He couldn’t fix it, said he needed another remote and would return, but never came back. More than an hour later I asked again and was told they might get one later or the next day. That never happened. At checkout I told the three people at reception, but they said nothing, didn’t seem to care, and didn’t apologize or offer any compensation. That poor service and the unkept promises deserve the lowest rating, in my opinion.

The staff were fantastic, genuinely lovely people who went out of their way to help. That’s why I’m giving four stars. The hotel itself is old and not very well maintained; breakfast was poor, and while the rooms are large, they’re not great. The staff really were fantastic, worth saying again.

Different receptionists gave me contradictory information, and checking out took an extremely long time.

Gina, who’s in charge of the food, was so professional, kind, and cheerful. Amazing service. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family.
