Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago

Hyatt Centric has excellent rooms, service, and location, with that familiar Hyatt touch. What really stood out was Christian, the Concierge. During my last visit for the Santiago Marathon, I was mugged in broad daylight while heading to pick up my race pack, and my smartphone was stolen. Christian had warned me not to use it for navigation. When I got back, he went home and brought me a phone to use, then took me to get a SIM card and helped me through the whole process. He also arranged a wonderful Don Melchor Tasting at Concha y Toro to celebrate the marathon. He represents the professionalism and values I associate with the Chilenos I know.

We felt safe walking around the well lit neighborhood at night, and the location made it easy to get around. We took several tours and saw the tallest building in S. America, which is fairly close by. Joe at the front desk went out of his way with directions and promptly arranged delivery of an extra electrical converter to our room. We had dinner at the Amandine hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the seafood specials and carefully presented food. Breakfast was extensive, with good coffee, fresh fruit, bacon, and eggs. Restaurant staff Victor and Gabriel kept an eye on our table and made both food and drink service feel special. Victor listened when we asked for green vegetables instead of potatoes and salad between the starter and entree. He suggested a delicious avocado, tomato, and heart of palm salad, and helped us find a local drycleaner. He’s professional, friendly, and clearly cares about the restaurant and its customers. We returned for dinner a second time because of him. We highly recommend Hyatt Centric Las Condes.

Our visit to Chile was made even better by Karina, who thoughtfully arranged a smooth one-day trip near Santiago and was incredibly kind and helpful. At the restaurant, Antonia was knowledgeable and professional during the wine tasting, which made the evening memorable. We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Centric Santiago and highly recommend it. Las Condos is a beautiful area, and you’ll find all kinds of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a busy hotel, so I had to wait to check in, but the spectacular corner room I got made that worthwhile. The complimentary wine tasting was really enjoyable, and the breakfast buffet was nice.
