Merced Plaza Apart

The parking situation was a mess. We paid for a space for 12 nights, but it was changed about three times. On one arrival, the assigned spot was being used for storage, leaving no way to avoid touching the car. Another time, after a long day, we got back late and someone else was in our paid space. They gave us a temporary spot, then assigned a permanent one two days after that last incident. The room condition was awful too. The sheets had blood and a white substance on them when we arrived. We asked for a change, and only then were given a room with air conditioning. The original room didn’t have it, and they said it wasn’t listed as an amenity. At this price, I’d expect air conditioning as standard, like a bed. The manager spoke to us rudely, with an arrogant and impolite attitude. Given how dirty and bloodstained everything was, I expected to be treated decently and have what I asked for provided without question. She clearly wanted me to thank her as if I owed her my life, but I didn’t, because she’d been so rude. The air conditioner was on a timer, and they sent me a rude message telling me not to leave anything on. We left the window open, so why would I leave the air conditioning running with all the windows open? Whoever thought I’d left it on, please be more careful next time. We also had to ask for a towel change. We were supposed to get three, but they changed only one until we requested the rest. My summary: a rude, arrogant manager and poor cleaning.
