The churrascos italianos are the best I've had, and the mayo is nice too. I'd add just a little salt.

It feels like a cozy, typical neighborhood restaurant. There's no fan, but it stays cool and there are hardly any flies. I also liked seeing the crates of fruit and vegetables, with people preparing the produce and utensils right at the tables. The waitress was very friendly. I came by bike from Macul after seeing it on Instagram and wanting to try the deal: two hot dogs and a Titro beer for 5000 pesos. The beer isn't really my thing, though it was refreshing after the heat and the ride. I liked the place, but gave it four stars because it's farther from me than the XU bus station.

The portions are generous, and the food is good for the price. It’s a classic, casual spot for lunch, right across from the University of Chile hospital. They could do a better job organizing the indoor tables, and one more server would help. Worth a visit.

Having a restaurant next door with traditional dishes was handy, and the location is hard to beat: right by Hospitales metro station and across from the University of Chile Clinical Hospital. The room did get quite hot in summer, though. A fan would probably have been enough to deal with it.
