We really enjoyed sitting on the deck, patio, or roof each night. The staff were very friendly and gave us good recommendations, and the airport pickup was a big help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. Times are a little tense in Santiago, and the staff explained things well. Best wishes for your beautiful country!

Gonzalo at reception was amazing. Without him, I'd have given this three stars. The room itself was great, but cleaning was unreliable. For long stays they cut cleaning back to once a week, though they came a little more often at first. The area is amazing on other days, but the Friday protests each week, plus some holiday protests, often meant closed metro stations, police in battle gear, and the occasional street fire. It didn't feel truly unsafe for foreigners, just alienating.

The duplex apartment worked perfectly for four people, though five could have fit too. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with arranging excursions. Our favourites were Cajon de Maipo and Valparaiso. For tourists, the location is ideal, right in the heart of the Lastarria neighborhood among restaurants and cafés, and a short walk from the city center attractions.

After a lot of hiking, we were exhausted when we arrived on the 20th. The gentleman who checked us in, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten, was incredibly kind and helpful. He took charge, got us settled, and pointed us toward good food. Great service.
